6600 EDS v2

YSI's 6600 EDS provides the monitoring community with a multiparameter sonde capable of accurately measuring 10 parameters in severe fouling environments for extended periods. The 6600 EDS (Extended Deployment System) builds upon the unprecedented accuracy and reliability of YSI's stirring independent Rapid Pulse dissolved oxygen system and the improved and proven wiped turbidity sensor.

Initial field studies of the 6600 EDS indicate that the system provides unprecedented DO accuracy and longevity in aggressive fouling environments when it was inspected after 80 days of an ongoing deployment performance evaluation. The Rapid Pulse^TM DO sensor performed within specifications throughout this deployment withoutthe need for recalibration or cleaning. During the deployment the instrument was removed once for battery replacement; none of the sensors were cleaned or recalibrated.
